The ABT AS5-R has previously been revealed but with little info. Now, here comes the official announcement from ABT Sportsline with all the details.Based on the Audi S5, the ABT Sportsline AS5-R takes that model's standard 4.2 liter V8 with 354 hp and uprates it to a whopping 510 hp. 0 to 100 km/h comes in at 4.5 seconds and top speed is a fairly smoking 292 km/h (181 mph). New brakes are required to deal with all that extra push which ABT addresses with 380 millimeter-diameter disks providing the corresponding pull on the vehicle.
